Since 1974 Anne Hawley has been widely recognised as the pioneer and expert of infant swimming. As a published author of two best selling 'how to' infant swimming books, Swim Baby Swim (1984) and (1987) Penguin books and more recently My Waterbabies (1991) both still available from Amazon Books today. Her reputation and lifelong commitment to safely swimming infants has resulted in her distinct, innovative and unique method of swimming babies being copied all over the world.
Anne lives and breathes swimming, her high energy and professional attitude reflect in every aspect of this very successful business. She believes that most children enjoy being physically active and a healthy lifestyle promotes mental and physical well being. Anne also states that being able to swim is an important discovery for every young child and helps towards developing a child’s positive self esteem such as,’ I can do’ as they become independent swimmers exploring and playing in the pool.
Over the past three decades Anne has gained vast experience of working with the media and the commercial sector. For example as the professional swimming teacher used in the British Gas Commercial and featuring her five ‘waterbabies’ swimming in the Red Sea which caused a media frenzy in the 90’s to the more recent film work in Dubai 2009.
Furthermore her expertise in commercial work has taken her to countries worldwide and the results stand in a class of their own.
