- In 1974 the worlds population was 4 billion thirteen years later, in 1987 it hit
5 billion.

FACT: The demographics of the worlds population is undergoing a period of rapid change,
a change that will see a significant proportion of the future growth in population
coming from many of the developing countries. In sharp contrast, Europe, will see
its share of the world's population falling to around 7 per cent as it's population
declines by some 91 million.
Countries including, India, China, Pakistan, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Bangladesh,
Zaire and Iran will be contributing most to our future population.
